Introducing A Unique Model:

Pediatric + Child Psychology expertise in one visit with

Dr. Steve Johnson, Pediatrician and Child Psychologist

Most parents don’t know:

- Is this normal?

- Do we need therapy?

- Do we need testing?

- Are we overreacting… or missing something?

These packages are designed to give clarity, direction, and a plan, quickly.

OPTION 1: Parent Strategy Session

$250 | 60 Minutes

A focused, high-yield session designed to help parents navigate common behavioral and emotional concerns.

Best for:

- School struggles (motivation, focus, organization)

- Anxiety or stress

- Social challenges or bullying

- Body image concerns

- Behavioral challenges at home

- Parenting strategy questions

What you get:

1. A deep dive into your specific concern

2. Clear understanding of what’s developmentally typical vs. concerning

3. Practical, immediately actionable strategies

4. Guidance on:

- When to monitor vs. act

- When therapy is helpful

- When medical or specialist input is needed

Think of this as:

“What should we do next—and how do we do it well?”

OPTION 2: Focused Diagnostic Evaluation

$750 | 2 x 60 Minute Sessions

A structured evaluation for parents seeking clarity around a possible diagnosis.

Best for concerns such as:

- ADHD

- Anxiety disorders

- Depression

- Learning or school-related concerns

- Behavioral patterns that feel “bigger than typical”

What’s included:

Session 1 (60 min):

1. Comprehensive history (developmental, academic, behavioral)

2. Identification of key diagnostic questions

3. Selection of targeted rating scales

Between sessions:

Standardized rating scales completed by parents (and teachers when appropriate)

Scoring and interpretation

Session 2 (60 min):

1. Review of results and patterns

2. Clear diagnostic impressions (when appropriate)

3. Specific, individualized next steps, including:

- Pediatric management vs. therapy

- School supports

- When full testing is warranted

- Medication considerations (if relevant)

Think of this as:

“Do we have a diagnosis—and what exactly should we do about it?”

How This Is Different From Comprehensive Psychological Testing

This is intentionally not a full psychoeducational evaluation.

Your in-house psychologist’s comprehensive evaluation includes:

1. IQ testing

2. Academic achievement testing

3. Full cognitive and learning profile

4. Formal written report for schools/IEPs

These packages are designed to:

- Provide faster access

- Answer focused clinical questions

- Help families decide:

- Do we need full testing—or not?

Many families don’t need full testing.

Some clearly do.

This helps determine that efficiently.
