Prenatal Consultation
Preventive support for all expecting couples, designed to anticipate and navigate the relational and emotional changes that commonly occur during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
One to three 60-minute sessions provide an opportunity to:
• Assess how each partner is adjusting to pregnancy or early parenthood and identify risk factors and potential stressors
• Educate couples about common emotional and relational changes during the perinatal period, including signs and symptoms of PMADs in both mothers and fathers
• Prepare couples with practical strategies for communication, role transitions, and maintaining relationship stability during the early parenting period
Postpartum Support
Designed to occur during the early postpartum period for couples navigating the transition to parenthood, these 60-min sessions may address:
• Communication and conflict management
• Division of responsibilities and role transitions
• Alignment in parenting approaches
• Stress management and mutual support
• Relationship adjustment and enrichment
